In the coming weeks, we’ll be featuring inspiring entrepreneurs from around the world, sharing their journey and empowerment strategies to help you step into your own with confidence.
For our first blog, we’re diving into the intersection of wellness and creativity, highlighting how Rachel from Cosmo Collective found the courage to bring her vision to life.

How does creativity foster connection?
We asked Rachel, founder of Cosmo Collective, about the role of creativity in building meaningful connections. “Creativity is like a social spark – it brings people together in ways that feel natural and fun. When we create, we share ideas, express ourselves, and connect on a deeper level. At Cosmo Collective, we see it all the time – whether its through painting, movement, or hands-on workshops. Creativity breaks the ice, sparks conversations, and builds real friendships.”
How did you build the confidence to take the leap despite fear?
Starting something new always comes with uncertainty, but Rachel shared how she found the courage to move forward. “A mix of passion, curiosity, and a little bit of why not?! I’ve always loved creating experiences that bring people joy, and I knew I wanted to build something meaningful. Of course, fear was there—but I reminded myself that every big step comes with uncertainty. Surrounding myself with supportive people and focusing on learning along the way helped me turn fear into fuel!”
What advice would you give a young entrepreneur, especially an expat living in a foreign country?
For those taking the leap into entrepreneurship, Rachel emphasises patience and embracing the journey. “Be patient, stay open-minded, and dive in! Learning the language and culture takes time, but don’t let that stop you from putting yourself out there. Meet people, ask questions, and trust that your fresh perspective is an asset, not a disadvantage. And most importantly—enjoy the process! The best ideas often come from embracing the adventure.”
Why is creativity important for wellbeing?
Beyond business, Rachel believes creativity is a powerful tool for self-care. “Because life isn’t just about work and routine! Creativity is a way to unplug, express yourself, and bring joy into your day. It reduces stress, builds confidence, and helps you connect with yourself in a way that words sometimes can’t. Whether it’s painting, dancing, or making something with your hands, creativity is pure self-care.”
