What makes your business unique?

The yachting industry is full of similar services so we wanted to know what sets All Around the Yacht apart from the rest. “We truly believe that the real understanding of what would be an ideal solution for the yacht and its crew comes from no one else but the client itself – each representing different journeys, experiences, and desires. Direct interactions combined with my passion for reaching out and connecting with clients is a good recipe for getting the real needs behind the conversations. What comes out of it is a real tailored made offer made of top-quality products. On top of that we have implemented measures to reduce our ecological footprint by using sustainable packaging and participating in local environmental protection initiatives. Reactivity, continuity of products and honesty are a perfect summary of how we approach and do things.”

What gave you the courage to go independent?

We all know starting a business is a bold move and despite the fear, we asked what inspired Joanna to take the leap despite fear. “My professional background and studies have been shaped by strategic management field, which prepared me to tackle business challenges and lead innovative projects. After successfully leading some businesses in Poland and reaching almost ten years of experience in yachting industry in France, I have felt that it is the right time to start something on my own. I was always captivated by dynamism, diversity, and lack of routine in yachting industry, so it was even more interesting for me to look at it from a different angle.”

How has entrepreneurship changed you?

Running a business in this industry is no small feat – we asked Joanna how the experience has shaped her as an individual. The yachting sector is demanding, requiring multitasking while maintaining high performance levels. My previous experience, combined with my ability to work under pressure and quick problem solving, make my everyday challenges more approachable and opportunities easier to reach. Having the business on my own, I became more aware of my own qualities and strengths, which when used adequately, can serve both, my clients and my company. As a true entrepreneur and as a leader, I envision an expanding company, surrounded by a passionate team that shares my values of commitment and trust. I aim to grow my business while ensuring the well-being of my employees and the satisfaction of our clients.”

Your advice for aspiring entrepreneurs?

Let your values guide your business venture. We asked Joanna what her advice is for a young entrepreneur. “The adventure of All Around the Yacht began with the belief that success is rooted in human relationships. Therefore, my advice is simply to get to know the people that are behind the scenes of yachting industry. Curiosity and kindness could be very helpful in getting there.”
